Malaysian Sale of Drugs Act 1952 and Its Regulations

This practice test equips pharmacy students or graduates with the necessary competency to sit for the Malaysian Pharmacy Board Qualifying Examination to Practice Pharmacy. The Qualifying Examination to Practice Pharmacy is pre-requisite for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia. There will be  a total of 100 multiple choice questions focussed on the Malaysian Sale of Drug Act 1952 and the  Control of Drugs and Cosmetics Regulations 1984. The questions will have to be answered in an open book format. Each question will be given a maximum of 3 minutes to answer and the passing mark is 50%. The MCQ questions will cover most of the content in the Act and its Regulations, to facilitate understanding and enable familiarity of standard questions including case study format in the qualifying exam. Answers and explanation will also be provided after each attempt to enhance memory and to get accustomed to the main points in the Act.

Upon completion of this practice test, students will be able to describe the Sections and Schedules of the Malaysian Sale of Drugs Act 1952 (Revised 1989 - Incorporating latest amendment - Act A1084/2000) and the Control of Drugs and Cosmetics Regulations 1984  (Incorporating latest amendment - P.U.(A) 257/2014).
