Materials for the lessons:

We will need just some basic materials that I'm sure you already have around the house:

- Watercolor Paper

- Pencil and eraser

- Black Sharpie

- Water cup

- Watercolor paints and brushes

- Paper towel

Kids will mainly need watercolor paint, but if you do not have it, they can still do the projects using other media like crayons, markers, or colored pencils.

About the instructor:

Hi! Welcome to this course! My name is Maria and I have always loved painting since I can remember. When my daughter was born, creating and imagining things was our favorite thing to do together. When she turned 3, I started looking for art classes for her. It was pretty challenging, as some lessons were too long for her age, too expensive, or just boring.

At that moment, the idea of this course was born. I decided to combine two of my passions: making art and teaching. Throughout my career, I have held several art exhibitions and won international awards. But my heart was always set on working with kids. Since I am a mom, I know how difficult it is for parents to find the time to juggle all their responsibilities while keeping kids engaged and entertained. I intend that my courses will prove to be a high-quality learning activity and empower kids through art-making.
