MER Myofascial Energetic Release is an integrative, deep form of bodywork practiced with skillfull integrity and acute sensitivity. Myofascial Energetic Release possess the capacity to alleviate acute and chronic physical pain, simultaneously treating somatic expressions of emotional and mental pain. In this course you will learn the art and science of providing deep bodywork with assisted stretches, myofascial unwinding, joint mobilization, trauma and emotional awareness with release.


The main cause of pain and tension in the body is over-contraction of the five types of soft tissue: Muscle, fascia, skin, ligament and nerves. This chronic tension blocks blood circulation, oxygen and vital energy to these soft, sensitive tissues. 90% of the chronic pain that humanity experiences arises from the contracted tissues pressing upon pain receptors within the body.
