I’m going to show you everything you need to know from the very starting blocks. Running through all the equipment, rekordbox management, beatmatching, gain staging, phrasing, looping, harmonic mixing and everything in between. And for intermediates, you can dive straight into some advanced lessons where I can teach you loads of little tricks, and have you nailing 3 deck mixes, better than some of the pros do.

There are 5 modules, with 49 lessons included. And I am happy to do a follow up call for anyone who needs a little helping hand afterwards.

Now I’m sure you do too, but I hate a tutorial that waffles on! Hours and hours of content when it could have just been half of it. Life's too short to take boring courses, and more hours of footage like some courses boast that they have, doesn't necessarily mean that there's more knowledge…When all they are doing is just waffling on. So, that's why I will be giving YOU the best possible knowledge. tricks, tips and all the good bits with NO TIME WASTING. Just concise, well-explained, knowledgeable lessons.

I started teaching people to DJ in 2020, when like many others, it felt like chasing my dream had come to an end. So instead of playing out, I started Teaching people. I didn't realise it would be as rewarding as it has been. Seeing people light up, finding their passions, and seeing Music lovers getting to play with the songs they love in a whole new way. And some of them are now living their dreams as well. I’ve taught teenagers who have just found their passion for music, some well known pop singers, influencers and faces who wanted to add another string to their bows, some people who have begun chasing their dreams of being a full time DJ. And some people who just want to know what they’re doing, so they can throw their own parties and have a bit of fun with their mates.

Now, A little bit about me, I’m Josh Parkinson…and I've been DJ’ing on and off for 20 years now. But full time for the past 10. I started playing in my mates Pub at the age of 15 (Probably shouldn't have even been in there in the first place, but yea haha) and gone on to playing all over the UK and internationally in places like Ibiza, Miami, Dubai and Australia. I had my own radio show for 7 years on Select FM and recent highlights have been playing an Open till Close set at Hï in Ibiza, having guest mixes on BBC Radio and Kiss FM and playing not 1 but 3 sets at Glastonbury this year. As well as clubs and festivals I play a lot of commercial and corporate events too, and my clients have included brands like Ferrari, Versace, PlayStation, Netflix and Amazon and a load more. My own music has been streamed over 20 million times and has been supported and played by the likes of Jamie Jones, David Guetta, Sam Divine, DJ EZ, Roger Sanchez and loads of others. But as they say, everything happens for a reason. And I probably wouldn't have ever taught anyone, and wouldn't of found the joy in it, if it wasn't for what had happened over the past few years.

Equipment used -

The Pioneer XDJ RR for the beginner lessons. Then onto the CDJ 2000Nexus 2's and CDJ 3000 as well as the Pioneer DJM A9 to get you familiar with the bigger set ups that are always used in clubs.
