A Journey of Self-Discovery and a Path Through Military Transition

The Struggle Is Real is a self-paced e-course that focuses on the challenges of military transition and blazing your way through.

This course IS NOT for those that:

  • have their transition all figured out.

  • are looking for resume assistance, networking opportunities, or interview skills.

This course IS for those that

  • are being challenged mentally and emotionally by their military transition.

  • are looking to improve their resilience, discover a new purpose, and define their own path through military transition.

On a personal note, I developed this course at the end of 2019 after facilitating the Transition Assistance Program course and personally mentoring hundreds of transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses. Unfortunately COVID "did what it did" and my attempt at starting a business empowering those struggling with military transition when down the proverbial drain. This course has been sitting on my hard-drive haunting me since 2022 when I had to officially shut down my business. I found Udemy while looking for a book writing course and was inspired to add this course to their extensive catalog.

One participant described this course in these words:

"In essence, 'The Struggle is Real' provides the core fundamentals and initial framework for Transitioning Active Duty Service Members, guiding students towards who they are meant to become after departing the military.

To be blunt, this is the ‘Basic Training playbook’ necessary for becoming a civilian.

If you’re anticipating transitioning from the military and find yourself wondering, “what comes next?” I recommend attending for yourself.

As a matter of fact, I caught Christina saying a handful of times, and I paraphrase:

‘You don’t jumpstart your Military Career with first attending Technical Training…No way! Instead you start in Basic. Only THEN are you ready to receive the technical skills necessary for successful transition.’

Although I’ve never myself transitioned from the military; I’m a military spouse. But the struggle is real on this side of the fence, too!

If you’re a Military Spouse who is struggling with change, you may also benefit from the science and deep work performed throughout “The Struggle is Real” eCourse."
