Learn German Quickly and Effectively to be Used Practically

Welcome to German Language Foundation Course by Great IT Courses!

This course is part of a series of courses (four courses in total). It will take you about 70 hours to complete all the four courses. This can easily be completed in a months’ time. Once you have this strong foundation of the German language, you can use it for many different purposes, including,

• start living in any German speaking country like Germany – As far as the language is concerned, you would be able to take care of day-to-day life without any problems.

• Start reading books in German

• have basic conversations in German

This system has been practically tested by the instructor of this course in Germany. Therefore, the outcomes listed above are actual experiences over a decade in Germany.

All the four modules that you need to study are,

• German Language Foundation Course (Current Course)

• German language Advanced Course

• Language Builder Course

• Vocabulary Course

In the four couses listed above, you will learn the following:

• Over 2500 absolutely necessary words to speak the German language, covering almost 90% of all areas of your day-to-day life in any German speaking country

• how to use the same words in correct sentences to say exactly what you want to say, whenever you want to say it

• all the grammar you need to make those sentences

While working through the four courses, you will NOT need to do any of the following:

• memorize any vocabulary

• memorize any complicated rules of grammar

• doing any homework, repitition, etc.

The reason you do not need to do the above is,

• All the vocabulary you ever need is given to you in the course. Since you will use the words right then and there to make meaningful and practical sentences and since you make the sentences yourself, those words will automatically become a part of your memory without the need to memorize them.

• Again since you will make the senteces yourself, the grammar you need will automatically be learned, hence no memorization of grammar rules.

• And since all that needs to be done is done by yourself while participating in the course, there is no need for any homework, repitition, etc. You will, however, need to review all the four courses one more time once you have completed the the first time.

These course were originally prepared by Michel Thomas who was a linguist in World War II. Michel Thomas taught many famous people in his time different languages like German and French. After the war, it took him about 25 years to devolop this wonderful system. In the beginning, this system was not available to the public. Later on the courses were given to the public.

The instructor of this course took the same Michel Thomas courses to learn the German language. After completing the courses in a months’ time, he travelled to Germany and lived there for about 13 years. He had no problems with the language but there were a few things that he needed to add to the Michel Thomas system while he was in Germany. Those few things have been added to these current courses presented here. We wish you success exploring the German language!
