Blending theory with meditation and self hypnosis, this course gives you a starting point for working with attachment

It's human nature to want to want to connect, to have a drive to attach to others and feel safe doing so. Secure attachment allows us to rely on others and to be comfortable with them relying on us; to have our expectations met and to meet the needs and expectations of those we connect to. Which is why the theories of attachment and connection are so well researched.

This short program introduces the concept of attachment, and describes the key attributes of anxious attachment, avoidant attachment, and disorganised attachment with some suggestions on how you can work towards creating a secure attachment style for yourself.

This program looks at attachment behaviour, explaining how attachment styles change and develop with our life experience and how we can have a different attachment style with every connection.

Attachment styles are fluid, and by learning your attachment behaviour and love languages, you can understand what you need in order to be securely attached.

Using hypnotherapy techniques and therapeutic tools, this course takes you through some of the key psychology theories around attachment, from John Bowlby and Mary Ainsworth, through to Gary Chapman's Love Languages. You will use guided meditation to discover your own attachment behaviour and consider what attachment wounds you may be carring which may make it harder for you to find a secure attachment.
