You should have sufficient knowledge in basic administration and development in ServiceNow and at least 6months hands-on experience in ITOM area.
Go through the eBook provided during on demand course / training. Complete all the labs that's given in the book. Try to understand each concepts around events, alerts, connectors etc.
Optionally complete the CMDB Fundamentals course, that will help you to clear some key concepts
Optionally complete Operational Intelligence to have a better understanding of ITOM Health
