Understand Salesforce Data Cloud & Prepare/Learn to Pass the Data Cloud Consultant Certification Exam. High-level Primer
Welcome to the Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant Certification course. In this course, I prepare you to pass the Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant certification. I focus on the most important information, but still suggest that you get your hands on Data Cloud for a complete understanding of the product. If you have 15+ hours to spend on the Trailmix instead, that is a free and more detailed alternative. This course is more high-level, hitting all the major topics you need to know. Please do not rely on just this course for your exam.
Course Content Includes:
[Data Cloud] Solution Overview 18%
This includes a description of Data Cloud’s function, key terminology, and business value
Data Cloud Administration & Setup 12%
This includes discussions on permission sets and provisioning
Data Ingestion & Modeling 20%
This includes discussing the processes and considerations for data ingestion from different sources
Identity Resolution 14%
This includes the difference between match rules and reconciliation rules
Segmentation & Insights 18%
This includes the step-by-step process of how to create segments in Data Cloud
Act on Data 18%
This includes information about activations in Data Cloud
This exam and certification is for those who already have a baseline understanding of Salesforce or who are marketing or data management professionals. This is not an entry level certification.
Please note that I do not work for Salesforce directly and have put together these lessons on my own accord. However, there are definitions, examples, and graphics from Salesforce resources.
This course will take you around 1 hour to get through and will help you study for the exam. It is as concise as possible given the complexity of the Data Cloud product. Use Salesforce documentation and/or the Data Cloud trailmix to dive into greater detail.
