Each Element will be studied & practiced individually and then combined for integrated practice.

Lecture Topics include:
- Intro & Why it is so helpful to study the 5 Elements of Life
- An overview of how each element shows up in Yoga Practice
- Understanding the Loop of Self-Awareness & Self-Regulation in Yoga
- An introduction to the Practice of "Ayurvedic Yoga"
For Each Element, There are 2 Segments:
- Introduction to the Qualities of the Element & how it shows up in Yoga Techniques & Philosophy
- A 40-minute yoga practice that focuses on increasing connection and drawing in that element
The Final Module Covers:
- How to Practice Self-Regulation informed by the 5 Elements in your Yoga Practice
- A Balancing Practice that uses postures & affirmations for all 5 Elements
- Conclusion, Thank You & What is Next
Continuing Education Credits Available:
Upon completion of the course, you will get a certificate that can be used for CEUs toward your next renewal.

About Your Teacher:
Laura Goellner OTR/L, E-RYT, C-IAYT, CLT
I am an Occupational Therapist with over 13 years of clinical experience in physical rehabilitation. I started practicing yoga in 2003 and began teaching in 2005. I earned my designation as a Yoga Therapist in 2017.
My background also includes training in massage therapy, treatment of neurological conditions, and a specialty in working with the lymphatic system.
It is my goal to share the tools of yoga with students so they may gain better self-understanding and move forward in their own journey of healing and self-development.
