Testimonials are widely used in the corporate world. As you know by now, I believe that a charity or welfare organisation should be run on business principles. Well, if testimonials work for the corporate world, it should work for your non-profit as well!
Sadly, I do not see a lot of non-profit organisations using testimonials to their advantage. I presume it’s because you are so busy rendering the services in your organisation that you forget about the bigger picture which is to ensure the sustainability of your organisation.
My aim with this video program is for you to realise the importance of testimonials for your organisation. I want you to create them and to put them into an organized system, ("testimonial library") so that you can use them in promoting and raising funds for your organization.
How do you want the world to see your organisation? For you to be successful in your fundraising efforts, your donors need to see you as:
1. Trustworthy
2. Accountable
3. Rendering a worthwhile service
4. Saving money
5. Having reliable staff members and
6. Making a difference in the lives of the people and animals that you serve.
Testimonials can help you to achieve all of these!!
In this program, I will play a lot of testimonials as examples because I will not only talk about this subject, but also show you practically what to do, and what not to do.
